- │ Loading TSRs and Device Drivers High │
- └────────────────────────────────────────┘
-
- Normally Memory Commander's automatic optimization will maintain the
- best selection of loading TSRs and drivers high. If you wish to
- manually control loading of TSRs and device drivers into high memory,
- from the main menu, select Advanced Configuration, then Features and
- options, and set Continuous optimization to NO.
-
- Allocate as much High DOS/TSR/Driver memory as desired. From the
- main menu, select Advanced Configuration, and then High DOS/TSR/
- Driver memory allocation. Keep in mind that memory allocated for
- high loading, reduces the amount of low DOS memory available.
-
- To load TSRs and device drivers into high memory, simply add the
- filenames into Memory Commander's Application Database as a TSR or
- device driver. The next time the system is re-booted, and these
- programs are run, Memory Commander will automatically load them into
- available high memory. This includes TSRs and device drivers which
- are run from CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT, other batch files, or the
- command line.
-
- To verify a TSR program's size and position in memory, run the Memory
- Commander control panel (MC) and press H (High and low memory
- status).
